William Ruto condole's Mulu Mutisya's family

His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto, the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya today sent a message of condolences to the family of the late Sammy Mutuku Mulu son of the late Hon. Mulu Mutisya.

In his message which was conveyed to the family by the first Deputy Governor of Machakos County Mr. Bernard Kiala, DP Ruto said that he had learned of the demise of Sammy Mulu great with a heavy heart.

“Some times I always ask myself why death doesn’t make its intentions known to us in advance but seasons and times belong to God. I encourage you to be strong, take heart, and accept the will of God. His grace is sufficient and when you trust in Him indeed you shall overcome.” Read part of his statement

The Deputy President also sent his donation to the family in support of the funeral arrangements.

Hon. Kiala was accompanied by Hon. Stephen Muthuka, Hon. Francis Matheka, Hon. Cornelius Kitheka and Hon. Kyalo Kuli.

The late Sammy Mutuku Mulu will be laid to rest on Friday 21st August at his farm in Miu, Machakos County.

Muthama hints at Ruto forming a political party

The funeral was held at Mwala in Machakos County. It was attended by political leaders from Ukambani across the political divide.

Among the leaders present was Johnson Muthama who said that Ruto would form a party. He asked Kalonzo to be open to working with Ruto. Muthama said Kambas will never be misused again.

The Mwala MP, Vincent Musyoka who is popularly known as Kawaya, told the mourners that Ruto had the numbers and was poised to be the next President.

Kalonzo rejects working under Ruto

Kalonzo welcomed the idea and said, ” I have no problem with negotiating with Ruto. In Politics, it is a game of numbers.” He however rejected the idea of working under the Deputy President and said, ” with my experience, I cannot work under Ruto.

Mulu Mutisya was a Kamba Kingpin who mentored most of the political leaders in Ukambani including Kalonzo.
