Nairobi’s Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has joined other leaders in cordoning the family of Hon Asha Abdi Sosso.
In his statement, the Governor acknowledged her contribution to the Nairobi County Assembly describing her as a fierce defender of her community. “My deepest sympathies to her family, friends and the community whose interests she represented so passionately.
She will be remembered for her role in defending the interests of the people of Kibra Constituency and her loyalty to the ODM party where she was a member. May her soul rest in peace.”
“She was a good friend who related with everyone regardless of their political affiliation, “said Golf course MCA Mwangi Njihia. Other leaders who also sent their condolences include Kibra’s Member of parliament Imran Okoth and grandpa’s CEO Refiga.
Imran remembers their close working relationship with his late brother Ken Okoth. Hon Sosso passed on yesterday after a short illness. She will be buried today according to Muslim traditions at Makaburini Muslim cemetery on Karanja road, Kibra. May she shine on her way.
