
Police in Tharaka Nithi have launched a manhunt for a man who sexually assaulted his wife and sealed her private parts with super glue after accusing her of infidelity on Saturday night
According to reports by the police in Tharaka Nithi South Sub-County in Kenya, the culprit tricked the wife to traveling from their Marimanti township home, Tharaka Nithi, afraid that he would be arrested after having traveled from Nairobi where there is a lockdown and breaking the cessation law.
He then forced the wife to go to Kathita River. When they got there the man threatened to kill his wife if she did not undress. She refused to undress and the suspect descended on her with blows while threatening to stab her with the knife he had carried with him.

“They man and his wife went to Kathita river and when they reached there, the suspect ordered her to remove all her clothes and ordered her to tell him all the men she had slept with while he was at Nairobi.” the police report read in some part.
Kiprop Rutto, the Tharaka Nithi County Commander told reporters that said the suspect then proceeded to add salt, onions, and pepper in his wife’s private parts using a sharp knife, before he applied superglue mixed with sand to completely ‘seal’ it off. The suspect then went on to apply t super glue on his wife’s mouth and ears and then fled from the scene.
The woman with great difficulty walked to Marimanti Police Station and reported the matter before the police took her to Marimanti Sub-County Hospital where she is receiving treatment. The suspect is a hard-core criminal in Tharaka Nithi and is being sought by the police for various crimes.
