Kalonzo Musyoka embarrassed by mourners at Senator Boniface Kabaka's funeral as they walked out while he delivered the President's speech.

Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka was yet again embarrassed by mourners during the burial proceedings of departed Machakos Senator Boniface Kabaka. This was as he stood to read the President’s speech.

Kalonzo had just been invited to the podium by deputy President William Samoei Ruto to read the speech but mourners soon started streaming out in large numbers. His interventions and pleas seemed to fall into deaf ears no one could have non of it. Ousted Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko seemed to carry the day with leaders from the Lambs community seemingly showering him with praise.

Though the leaders mainly steered away from politics, Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua seemed to clash with Gatundu South member of Parliament after he failed to recognize the former vice president as a Kamba head.

“There’s no other leader other than the former Governor Mike Sonko that I recognize as a Kamba leader,” hon Kuria remarked. This seemed not to have rubbed Senator Wambua well in which he responded “For Moses Kuria to come here and pretend to lecture the Kamba on leadership shame on you,” he responded. There was a call for Kamba leaders to come together and speak in one voice.
