BUSINESSMAN DONATES COVID 19 PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT TO ALEGO USONGA RESIDENTS

Businessman donates Covid-19

Businessman Martin Otieno Juma popularly known as Mijesh has today donated equipment that serve as protective gear to residents of South East Alego in Alego Usonga constituency.

Speaking on his behalf at the function held at Karemo Chief’s Camp, Alego Using ODM Youth Leader Eddy Omondi asked Alego Usonga residents to treat the Covid 19 pandemic with the seriousness it deserves since it’s a global catastrophe.

He urged residents to observe high standards of hygiene and observe the prevention and control protocols laid down by the government. Mr Ogolla also used the event to decry the high rate of teenage pregnancies in Alego Usonga asking the local leadership to address the situation. He also asked parents and the youth to assist the local leadership towards containing the situation.

Also present at the function was area MCA Hon Joseph Mboha amongst other leaders

Equipment donated included face masks, sanitizers, thermo guns and water tanks

Alego Usonga has lately been in the news due to an inadequate supply of Covid 19 kits especially after the government banned the use of fumigation booths which had been recently launched by local leaders
