Esther Akoth, aka Akothee, is a businesswoman and artist who has made her name through her fabulous afro-beat songs. Her extreme fitness makes her pull off sultry dance moves that accompany the songs. She was born on the 8th of April 1980 in Kisumu city, a town in Western Kenya.

Esther Akothee is one of the richest entertainers in Kenya, and this is evidenced by her innumerable expensive cars, the big homes she owns, and her numerous businesses. Akothee Safaris-tours and travel company is her most prominent one.

Akothee’ s life story is a typical grass to grace one. Akothee has been in several relationships with both people ofcolorr and Caucasians. She admits she has to be arried to people who are the age of his father and has been kicked out by men from both races.

After the separation, Akothee enrolled at Wasio secondary school in 2004, she sat her Kenya Certificate of supplementary Education (KCSE).

She is not shy of her performance and displayed her KCSE restlts slip to her fans on social media. The outspoken songstress was index number 34, and she scored an aggregate grade of C+. Among the grades that stood out in her grades was the A plain she scored in History and Government, and the D- that she scored in Mathematics.

She got into the cab driving business when she divorced her ex-husband. She moved to Mombasa and moonlighted as a dancer. She saved enough money to atart the taxi business.

Akothee was born of an administrator father and a politician mother in Kisumu County. Akothee’s love life has had ripe of twists and turns. Her stories can make you shed a tear.

At Nyabisawa Girls she was confused by a boy from a neighboring and eloped with him. The boy used to send her love letters that drove her crazy.

Despite growing up in a loving home, Akothee’s rebellious character drove her to elope with the boy. She was then just fourteen times of age. Akothee then moved to Migori county to stay with her mother-in-law.. She served as a house girl to the mother-in-law for the next seven years.

Her husband’s mother chased her from her matrimonial home in 2000, for reasons undisclosed. She then moved to Kanga and started selling omena(data) in order to raise money for her school fees and for her small family’s upkeep.

3 year later In 2003, Akothees husband discontinued his university education, and he and Akothee got back together to take care of their children.

The young family moved to Nairobi, and they began a very meek life together. In a total contrast to her current lifestyle, their life in Nairobi was so humble. They received items such as spoons and sulfuriaa from their friends.

In another turn, in her already eventful life, Akothee’s husband left her in 2006 when she started getting wealthy.

Akothee is a mom of five. She has three daughters and two sons. The three Akothee daughters are were sired during her first marriage, while her sons were conceived from different relationships with foreigners.

Akothee’s firstborn, Vesha Shalian Okello,was born when she was just a fourteen year old girl. At the age of 15,she gave birth to a kid who passed on. Akothee’s well known third born Celine Dion Okello aka Celly or Rue baby was born to a sixteen-year-old Akothee.

It was in the year 2000 that Akothee gave birth to her last-born daughter, Prudence Apundo. The Akothee sons are Oyoo and Ojwang, whom she warmly refers to as Prince Oyoo and Prince Ojwang. All in all, Akothee has a very pleasant and warm relationship with all her children.

This can be seen from the way she showers them with gifts on their birthdays to the way she proudly describes them whenever she has the chance. The forty-year-old person always gives the best gifts to her children.

Akothee gifts her kids with cars, among other expenses when they turn 19. For Vesha Shalian’s birthday in 2016, Akothee left tongues wagging by hosting a party for her firstborn at the five-star Sankara Hotel in Westlands, Nairobi. This was after she flew her for a shopping revelry in South Africa.

It was during this birthday party that Akothee gifted Vesha Shalian a car and a laptop. Celine Dion Okello’ s birthday was commemorated at Maisha Tamu Luxury Boutique Resort on Kenya’s coast. The blue-themed carnival was invite-only. Celly’s birthday also had an after-party at Pata Pata Beach Club in Malindi.

Akothee also gifted Celly a truck on her birthday. Celly, or Rue Baby, was a contestant in the Nivea Face of East Africa Competition and did well. She is very grateful to her mother who supported her throughout the journey. She is currently a student at Strathmore University, and she joined the private university after scoring a B- of 58 points in her KCSE.

For circumspection Apundo’s seventeenth birthday, the daring lady was gifted a Tsavo East getaway. We cannot imagine what Akothee has planned for her prince’s teen birthdays and can only wait. The Akothee children are quite well mannered.

She revealed this when she said that even her own kids whom she has given practically everything do not stress her nearly as much as these relatives do.

Akothee’s Instagram page also features pictures of the mum of five accomplishing house chores with the Akothee children. Wealth is not a problem for this youthful mother, and she, therefore, does not scrimp when it comes to spending lavishly on her kids.

She reportedly pays more than 800,000 Kenyan shillings termly fees for one of her children. She once drew on her Instagram page, “One of my kids is paying 800k per term yet they are five.”

It was while steering her cab in Mombasa that Akothee met a French diplomat who was impressed by her.

The French diplomat asked Akothee why she still had a milk stain on her bosom. She told that she had given birth recently and the man responsible had left her. The diplomat felt sorry for her.

Akothee acknowledges that this man helped her financially. He advised to expand her car business, and she took the opportunity to venture into the tour operation business. While she was with this man, she opened a bar, The Stomp 196 in Shanzu, and he bought her the first van in Akothee Safaris.

The man took her Switzerland but things did not work out and he kicked her out when she was nine months pregnant. She came back to Kenya and started her music career.

Akothee net worth is approximately 6.2 billion Kenyan shillings. This was exposed by her administrator Nelly Oaks to silence rumors that Akothee was worth three hundred million Kenyan shillings.

Akothee once divulged that she paid Flavour 6 million for their collaboration on the ‘Give It To Me’ song. She also paid aanzanian Diamond Platnumz 1.7 million for their collaboration on ‘Sweet Love’.

The Akothee house in Mombasa has sixteen bedrooms and all expected facilities. This was divulged by Kenyan actor Jalango, aka, Jalas, who visited the home. Jango revealed that when he was at the house, he used twelve white towels and fifteen bedcovers. He was taken care of by a private masseuse and a personal chef.

Akothee’s house in Mombasa is worth approximately one hundred and twenty million Kenyan shillings. Akothee has another magnificent home in Rongo, Migori County, which is worth approximately one hundred million Kenyan shillings.

Akothee is sadly sickly, and collapses from fatigue. This was divulged by her manager, Nelly Oaks, who confirmed that the Kenyan songstress is sometimes bedridden because of this.

This is caused by the stress she gets from her relatives whom she graciously takes in. She canceled a show in the United States of America and many other shows because of this.

“I had vowed never to live with my folks form the village after so numerous disappointments, but hey I am human too, so three years ago, I changed my mind and decided to live with one of my cousins and a son of my neighbor whom I educated without any difficulty of school fees. When they were over with there education, none of them came to thank me! But hey its fine, mistake in judgement is not a failure in life… ” she said

Akothee, say her family has never given her as much troublele as the village folks. “They(Akothee kids) have never torn my heart with dissatisfaction or disappointment, she said.

My children always make a polite request even when they need to buy something pricey,” madam! How are you! I was asking, I looked a weave going for 40k! Could you get me one when you are in spending mood?” This makes me happy.

“So why are society children delivering me to hospitals? Why am I being hospitalized because of f ungrateful people! Why am I sad because of the pregnancy and the labor cramp that I did not bare! Why are my folk from the village causing me so much pain! Is it because I am stupid? Do I owe them something!” Akothee wonders.

Akothee laments that she missed One Africa jazz Festival because her relatives sent her to a hospital bed. .
